The pacific sunsets are spectacular, take a sunset cruise or have a “sundowner” cocktail and there is magic in every sunset. Costa Rica’s Central Pacific coast is one of the top Sport fishing destinations in Central America and Playa Hermosa beach has epic waves and surfers can indulge in one of the biggest beach breaks on the country’s Pacific coast. Gorgeous scenery and proximity to Jaco make Playa Hermosa an excellent destination for beach lovers and adventurers in search of convenience coupled with peace and quiet.

Some of the attractions located nearby to Las Brisas are:
Surfing - ¾ mile (15 minute walk)
Zip lining. This unique combination of first class equipment, experienced professionals, rigorous safety procedures, and an outstanding location guarantee a pleasantly memorable experience. Come learn to fly! (5 minutes drive)
Sport fishing from the Los Suenos Marina a chance to catch a Pacific Sailfish or Marlin or even a Giant Roosterfish. (20 minutes drive)
Rainforest Aerial Tram and Serpentarium. Aerial Trams allow guests to view the 222 acres (90 ha) of tropical rain forest from an entirely different perspective. The safe, open-air gondolas have seating, roofs and are great for spotting elusive bird species. Expect to get sneak-peeks of a 40 foot waterfall and views of the Pacific coastline. There are two ways to return to the Sky Tram's base. You can ride the tram down the same route that you ascended or sign up for a fast-paced zip line tour to the bottom. Those seeking an adrenalin rush would be wise to choose the second option.
The zip lines include 10 cables and 15 platforms with five of the 10 cables more than 600 feet long. This combination tour includes a visit to the heliconia garden, snake exhibit and an expert naturalist guide. (20 minutes drive)
The Carara Biological Reserve (Reserva Biologica Carara). With several miles of trails open to visitors (some only with a tour group), it is a great place to view much of Costa Rica's wildlife. Early morning or around sunset is often the best time to see the flight of scarlet macaws that rest among the mangroves. It is also possible to see Caiman, white-faced Capuchin monkeys, Peccaries, Coatimundis and a wide variety of birds. The park opens at 7 am and closes at 5 pm. (25 minutes drive)
The Tarcoles River (Rio Tarcoles), which borders the park and flows into the Pacific Ocean, is an amazing place to witness the American crocodile close up. Boat tours are available to see the crocodiles, many of which grow to be several meters in length! (30 minutes drive)
Isla Damas Monkey and Mangrove tour. Mangroves play a vital role for the survival of many species of wildlife including a chance to see Capuchin Monkeys up close and personal. (45 minutes drive)
Manuel Antonio National Park is within driving distance as it sits majestically, to the south. (55 minutes drive)
